CANCELLATION POLICY

B.O.K. Ranch Cancellation Policy

All B.O.K. Ranch equine assisted activities are to be considered ‘weather permitting’. It is the sole responsibility of the parent, rider, and/or volunteer to call the B.O.K. office and listen to the out going message of the day to check whether or not there has been a lesson cancellation.

If for any reason B.O.K. Ranch administration and/or the B.O.K. Ranch riding instructor cancel a lesson the lesson will either be made up during a session break, the cost of the riding lesson may be rolled over into the next riding session, or the cost of the lesson can be donated to the B.O.K. Ranch for a tax deductible donation receipt (to be used at tax time).

If for any reason the rider can not make a regularly scheduled riding lesson then we ask that the office is notified as soon as the rider/parent is aware that a lesson will be missed (a courtesy so the horse isn’t tacked up and waiting, along with the volunteers). Tax donation receipts will be sent at the rider/parents request for any missed lessons. These lessons will not be made up nor will the cost of these lessons be rolled over into the following session.

Riders can be initially enrolled mid session. These riders are only responsible for paying for the remaining lessons left in the riding session.
