We have 2 main programs here at the barn:
- Horsemanship and Riding
- Vocational Program
Horsemanship and Riding: All participants who are interested in taking riding lessons, first start off in our Stable Eq class. Stable Eq is an off-mounted horsemanship program that teaches children how to groom and saddle their horse. Once the checklist of these “pre-riding” skills is mastered, most children then qualify to graduate to our riding classes.
Vocational Program: BOK Ranch also offers an inclusive Vocational training program for adults to help bridge the gap between education and the competitive job market. Participants interested in the Vocational program do not have to enroll in Stable Eq first.
