
WHAT IS IEA?
- IEA is a national 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to introducing and promoting lifelong involvement in equestrian athletics.
- IEA utilizes a unique draw-based team competition format whereby riders are not required to own their own horse to riding tack to participate-providing greater affordability and access to the sport.
- IEA has nearly 15,000 members across the United States riding and coaching 3 disciplines- HUNT SEAT, WESTERN, and DRESSAGE.

WHO CAN PARTICIPAPTE?
- The BOK Ranch IEA team is made up of children who have typically moved up through the BOK Ranch programs. Any child with a passion for riding and competing is eligible to try out for the team.
- It is expected that all IEA participants can groom, tack up, mount, dismount, walk, trot, canter, independently.
- All IEA team members must be able and willing to attend team practices, lessons, and be able to travel to shows.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF IEA?
- Working together and fostering relationships that come along with being on a team are invaluable skills that can stick with you the rest of your life.
- Getting to travel and compete on local, regional, zone and national levels.
- IEA distributes $1.5 million in cash and renewable collegiate scholarships each season.
